Monumental Weddings and Events is looking for a driven, service-minded Event Sales Coordinator to join our team. We’re seeking someone with strong follow-through, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building memorable experiences. We’ve been featured in print, online, and on television, and we’ve built a name for ourselves by creating unforgettable events in one-of-a-kind spaces.

What You’ll Do

Sales + Client Management

  • Respond to event and wedding leads within 1 business day via The Knot, WeddingWire, Tripleseat, and more.
  • Schedule and lead venue tours with prospective clients.
  • Track leads and client interactions using Tripleseat and other tools.
  • Manage contracts, booking confirmations, and event planning meetings.
  • Upsell services such as bar packages, add-ons, and day-of coordination.

Event Execution + Vendor Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact on event days, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Coordinate directly with clients and vendors before and during the event.
  • Lead planning and logistics meetings.
  • Assist with setup, timelines, and general execution of weddings and private events.

Marketing + Social Media

  • Post 3–4 times per week across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (including reels).
  • Collaborate with our VP of Marketing on promotional materials.
  • Gather and upload photos from past events for marketing use.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination, venue sales, or hospitality.
  • A clear, professional communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Someone who is organized, resourceful, and confident juggling multiple events.
  • Familiarity with Tripleseat or event management tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.

Work Environment

  • This is an on-site position based at Monumental Weddings and Events in Indianapolis.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during tours, event setups, and coordination.
  • Requires flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the event calendar.
  • Regular use of a computer and office equipment for email communication, scheduling, and CRM systems.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, including event materials such as linens, décor, and bar supplies.
  • Fast-paced, client-facing environment requiring strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
