Be part of the connection:

You provide consultations to highlight how our data services satisfy the technical needs of clients. You sell to new and existing clients in a complementary role to the direct Sales and Sales Engineering teams. You receive sales quota retirement for targeted products and commissions in a defined territory are paid to the direct rep and the Sales Overlay Specialist.

How you can make a difference: 

  • Complete our 12-week paid sales training that won a Brandon Hall Group gold award for excellence in Best Advance in Sales Enablement and Performance Tools.
  • Consult with clients and Sales teams to meet or exceed revenue goals for data solutions.
  • Partner with Product teams to develop and advance service attributes.
  • Identify target markets, industries and contacts to develop and implement a sales plan.  
  • Field-based sales roles have fluidity between home, client location and office locations. The expectation is that you are primarily out in front of clients.
  • Lead consultative meetings, demonstrations and negotiations with stakeholders to close deals. 
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams to develop and execute team selling strategies. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS  

Required qualifications: 

  • Experience : Two or more years of experience in sales of Data and Managed Service solutions; Five or more years of telecommunication B2B experience;Experience selling the Cisco Meraki product suite.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical skills : Expert in Managed Network Service solutions; Proficient in Microsoft Office; Familiar with Salesforce. 
  • Skills : Presentation and English communication skills.
  • Abilities : Ability to conduct a consultative analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Availability : Travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities. Valid driver's license.

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Industry certifications, such as Cisco, Fortinet or MEF.
  • Experience selling SD-WAN.
