Staff Management Group is seeking an Electrician for our client in Robbinsville, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule

• 1st shift: 7AM - 3:30PM
• Monday - Friday
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate

• $30 / hour

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to perform preventative electrical repairs, troubleshoot and maintain complex electrical systems, and assist with equipment installations in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires strong technical knowledge of circuitry, electrical schematics, and motor systems, as well as a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical cords, motors, and equipment parts.
• Run conduit, pull electrical wire, and wire new or used equipment as needed.
• Replace starters, relays, switches, fuses, main and auxiliary disconnects in electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot and test control wiring using Ohm meters and schematics; diagnose single phasing in 3-phase systems.
• Check heater packs, identify open circuits, and diagnose programmable controller issues.
• Set up and maintain metal detectors and support installations of plant equipment.
• Train maintenance employees on repairs and service schedules.
• Use SAP and/or CMMS for documentation and communication with operations.
• Work safely while maintaining a clean, orderly area and adhering to all PPE requirements.
• Assist with major electrical repairs and construction, spare part inventory, and process improvements.

Job Requirements  

• MUST be bilingual in English AND Spanish (read and write)
• Strong knowledge of 110V, 220V, 440V, and 480V systems and solid-state circuitry.
• Ability to size conduit, starters, fusing, and wiring based on motor amperage.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, operating electrical testing tools, and understanding Arc Flash safety.
• Physical ability to lift up to 90 lbs with proper equipment and obtain a forklift license.
• Must be able to complete paperwork in CMMS/SAP and perform basic math functions.
