Leading Government/Military mechanical contractor has an immediate need for a Mid-Level Accountant to handle a variety of accounting related job functions. This is a great opportunity to grow into a Controller and eventually a CFO role if desired.

Company has been in business for 25+ years and is continuing to grow aggressively (Company was listed in The Philly Business Journal’s fastest growing regional companies list). Company’s clients include City Hall in Philadelphia, Pearl Harbor, The Smithsonian, and many other recognizable names!

Preferably we are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Finance Majors will be considered as well) and 2-3++ years of experience working with top line financials for a small to mid-sized construction or mechanical/electrical services company. Job costing experience is a big plus! Must be willing to work hands on and take on new projects.

Position will be responsible for job costing, project budgeting and pricing, project forecasting, preparing monthly and year-end tax reports, assisting with AP/AR, recommending process improvements, and recommending operational improvements. You will work closely with the company’s CFO and learn all accounting aspects of the business.
